Orcas Island Lit Fest Panel with Donna Miscolta, Danzy Senna, and Caitlin Scarano

Where You're Coming From: An Exploration of Family, Heritage, and Place

Everyone has an origin story. How do writers remember and reclaim their own pasts as they build worlds and the people in them? These authors of memoir, fiction, and poetry felt called at different points in their lives to explore the complexities of personal identity. They'll talk about the obstacles they've faced, how family and roots play into their work, and how they came to give themselves permission to tell stories that have historically been silenced.
Panel will be moderated by Anna Quinn.
In person or online— time TBD- stay tuned.
